Faisal Mosque of Islamabad completed in 1986 is one of the most beautiful and national mosque of Pakistan. The construction of the mosque started in 1966, when King Faisal of Saudi Arabia supported the Pakistani government’s initiative to build a national mosque. The mosque was designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay.
